Informatics for Health 2017



We invite researchers, clinicians, technologists and managers to contribute and share your current research in biomedical and health informatics, and encourage contributions about methodologies and applications, success stories, but also lessons learned and surprises from completed or on-going projects.

The conference will accept papers and abstracts on a broad range of topics including:

The following types of submission are invited:

  • Full paper: original contribution that either describes an empirical study, a novel system, methodology, or new insights from research presented as a talk and published by IOS Press in “Studies in Health Technology and Informatics”
  • Abstract: one-page structured abstract presented as a talk or poster
  • Panel: forum for moderated analysis of an important issue or emerging trend
  • Workshop: informative and interactive session
  • Tutorial: education session that introduces a specific topic
  • Demonstration: non-commercial session in which the functionality of proof-of-concept, pilot or production software is explained.

27 January 2017 Notification of Acceptance
20th February 2017 Deadline for final version of submissions of camera ready papers
